New and unique to IceTV Interactive – ‘New Shows’

June 22nd, 2010

With the new "New Shows" feature, IceTV lets you automatically record any new programs to digital free-to-air TV, weeks in advance.

Introducing ‘New Shows’…. a new and unique feature to IceTV’s Interactive TV Guide, that makes finding and then automatically recording any new programs on digital TV as simple as ‘set & forget’.

‘New Shows’ saves you the time and hassle of having to scroll through the TV Guide online to manually look for any new programs or scan the newspapers. Simply click on the ‘New Shows’ tab when looking at the Interactive TV Guide online, to quickly see a short summary of any new programs (or returning TV series) coming soon to TV, that we believe are worth a look. Simply click on anything you see to quickly find out more about the show, see when it is due to appear on TV and on what channel (if known), or add it as a ‘favourite’ to be notified of when it starts closer to the time.

For IceTV members with a compatible device at home, it gets even better. You can schedule new shows to record automatically weeks, maybe even months in advance. Whether the show is on that night, later in the week or still weeks away from coming to TV, members can view any program in the ‘New Shows’ list and then automatically set them to record on their TV recorder at home within a few simple clicks. Then sit back, relax and let IceTV do the rest.

For example, ‘Junior MasterChef Australia’ or the next season of ‘The Apprentice (UK)’ may still be months away from appearing on TV but with ‘New Shows’, IceTV members can already schedule the entire series of either show to record automatically on their device at home.

IceTV makes finding and recording your favourite shows on TV, as simple as set & forget.

Have you seen an ad on TV or a similar promotion for a new TV show (or a returning series) that you think our team should know about? If so, simply post the name of the show and any other details you wish to add in the dedicated section of our forum for our team to look at. We will review your post and add any worthy suggestions to ‘New Shows’ for everyone to enjoy.

Be sure to check out ‘New Shows’ regularly to make sure you don’t miss out on any new programs coming to digital free-to-air TV.

IceTV
