7TWO now in Tassie & Darwin, One in Mildura

Southern Cross Television have announced that 7TWO will be available for both Tasmanian and Darwin viewers as of today.

The channel will launch on Channel 62 in Tasmania at 7:20pm tonight with a ‘Welcome to 7TWO’ promotion, followed by new Ugly Betty at 7:30pm. (At this stage we are unsure whether 7TWO will be broadcast on Channel 62 or 72 in Darwin).

In other news… free-to-air digital TV viewers in Mildura can now enjoy access to One, the 24hr sports channel from the Ten Network. Mildura Digital Television (TEN Mildura) began broadcasting ONE from 6:30am this morning and according to reports, it is available in both high definition and standard definition broadcasts. (Listings for OneHD is already available within IceTV’s EPG for Vic Regional).
