IceTV iPhone application

Our iPhone application is nearing completion so we’ve decided to post an update, including some tasty screenshots. A full iPhone application? Weren’t we just building an iPhone specific IceTV Interactive website?

Yes. Initially we planned to only build a specific iPhone Interactive web site, but the restrictions it placed on the user interface meant we’d have to skimp on quite a few of the details. That’s not something we like doing, so we’ve opted for the more difficult path, knowing that the results will be more enjoyable and quicker to use.

As with our Interactive website and IceTV Widget, a green star denotes a recommendation… a show we think you might like, based on the other shows you’ve chosen to record or added as favourites.

We’re confident it’ll be the best TV guide for Australian iPhone users. It’s much, much more than a TV guide though—the IceTV iPhone application will allow remote recording on any IceTV Interactive compatible Media Center PC, Mac or PVR, including the new Topfield 7100 and the Beyonwiz range of PVRs.
