Beyonwiz goes Interactive with IceTV

Beyonwiz PVRs will become the first PVR range to support IceTV Interactive and offer their customers complete access to features such as the IceTV Widget and remote recording, allowing users to set TV shows to record onto their Beyonwiz PVR at home from practically anywhere.

In their latest software (firmware) version released earlier today… Beyonwiz has continued to raise the standards bar in PVR technology for Australian consumers by integrating not only the IceTV EPG service, but now IceTV Interactive also.

Supporting IceTV’s unique and interactive features will mean that Beyonwiz can now offer its PVR users true series recording & remote recording options via the IceTV website, the mini-site for mobile phones, or when using the new IceTV Widget. Users can also get instant access to other great IceTV features such as IceTV Recommendations, My Shows, My Upcoming Shows and IceTV’s very own Most Popular TV ratings.Those with multiple Beyonwiz PVRs at home can even select which device they want to use to record. Using the IceTV Interactive features to remotely manage TV recordings will also mean that if a user’s favourite show goes off air for 6 months and then comes back, fear not… IceTV will make sure the Beyonwiz PVR goes ahead and records it.
