Nine appeals the court decision

Although IceTV won its defence against the Channel Nine allegations in totality, including costs, Channel Nine are determined to try to fight IceTV into submission. Their appeal was heard in the Federal Court on February 25th and 26th 2008.

Amongst other things, the main appeal point was that Nine alleged that “time and title” were subject to copyright and that Her Honour Justice Bennett erred in her findings. IceTV’s defence team vigourously defended our position and we are confident of a positive outcome. A judgement in our favour is hoped for within the next six months.
