IceTV & Sony Australia team up this Summer

IceTV and Sony Australia kick start the Summer by announcing a deal that will help promote the new & exciting Sony VAIO Notebook range for 2008. The agreement will see Sony include a Free Subscription to IceTV as part of any compatible VAIO product purchase.

The companies have agreed to include a Free 3-month Subscription to the IceTV Service as part of any purchase of a compatible product within the VAIO range, allowing Sony customers to see not only the full capabilities of their device in terms of digital TV consumption, but also provide a sneak preview of even better things to come.

IceTV is at the forefront of EPG and interactive TV technology, offering users many unique features that greatly enhance the functionality of any compatible digital recording device as well as give users even greater control of their TV viewing.

“These VAIO notebooks are designed to be stylish entertainment hubs, incorporating Windows Media Centre, inbuilt TV tuners, large, bright screens and high quality sound,” said Hiro Ishikawa, Marketing Manager for VAIO at Sony Australia. “The free IceTV subscription will give purchasers of the AR and LM series the opportunity to fully utilise digital TV’s capabilities.”
