NEC & ASUS join the party

Both NEC Computers and ASUS have agreed to bundle Free IceTV subscriptions with sales of “IceTV compatible” PCs running either Microsoft’s XP Media Centre Edition 2005 or Vista platforms.

They join the long list of PC manufacturers including Hewlett Packard, Toshiba, Acer, Optima, Pioneer and Altech (just to name a few), choosing to give their customers a free prepaid trial subscription to IceTV’s electronic program guide service with products sold in Australia.

Both companies have elected to include a Free 3 month prepaid subscription valued at $33. After which, the customer will then be able to subscribe to IceTV’s service themselves, choosing either a 1, 3 or 12 month option.
