Adjust all Series Recordings for OneHD before Thursday

March 24th, 2009

The following is an important service announcement for all IceTV users with series recording options already selected for One HD or Ten HD in preparation for the March 26th launch of Network Ten’s new 24hr sports channel.

With One HD officially replacing Ten HD and
transitioning to broadcasting new and different content as of this Thursday, now is the perfect time to update any series recordings you currently have setup for these channels so that you don’t miss out on any of your favourite shows as a result of the change.

If you have any series recordings setup to only record on One HD (for example House, NCIS, or Life) you should change these to record on “Any Channel”.

(Note: One HD will officially replace TEN HD in capital cities and there will no longer be any high definition broadcast of Channel Ten’s regular programming available).

To do this under IceTV Interactive (on our website and/or iPhone app) you should;

1. Go to the My Shows page of IceTV Interactive.
2. Select the series recording you wish to change.
3. Change the ‘Channel’ option to be ‘Any Channel’ and then click on ‘Update’.

For Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005;

1. Under the main menu of Media Center select ‘My TV’.
2. Under the list of ‘Scheduled Recordings’ select ‘More’.
3. Select ‘Series’ from the menu on the left side of the screen.
4. Select any series recordings setup for One HD and change the ‘Channel’ option to ‘Any Channel’.

For Windows Vista Media Center;

1. Under the main menu of Media Center under ‘TV + Movies’ select ‘Recorded TV’.
2. Select ‘View Upcoming’ at the top of the screen.
3. Select ‘Series’ from the menu on the left side of the screen.
4. Select any series recordings setup for One HD and change the ‘Channel’ option to ‘Any Channel’.

If you are unsure or come across any technical problems whilst trying to do the above, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Over the next few weeks, IceTV will closely monitor the launch of Network Ten’s new One HD and One Digital sport channels and start to provide our own listings within the IceTV EPG for each guide region as soon as we possible can.

When we are confident with our coverage of One HD and One Digital and we have been able to update our own IceTV EPG internally to reflect this, we will notify all IceTV users accordingly.

We are as excited as everyone about this new channel and the content that it will bring to free-to-air television (Freeview). We greatly appreciate your patience during this time and we thank you in advance for your ongoing support.

Additional information for One HD and One Digital can be found on One’s official website.

Regards,

IceTV
