ABC3 will be officially launched across the country this Friday (December 4th) at 6pm (AEST).

According to the ABC website, “ABC3 is a brand new digital channel just for kids, designed for maximum fun and entertainment that will… also be a fantastic online space, where you can play, watch, interact, upload and get involved.”

Helping kick-start the new channel will be the new Australian children’s drama production, ‘My Place’. Scheduled to begin at 8pm this Friday, ‘My Place’ is a look at a group of children who have lived and gathered in one spot across several generations, centering round a huge fig tree. Also reported to be modifying with the new channel is the programming for ABC2, so please check IceTV’s EPG for any changes. More information on the new channel and their program lineup can be found on their Countdown to ABC3 website.
